Information for Grade 8 Students

SAVE THE DATE - Our Grade 8 Open House will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 starting in the auditorium at 6:00 pm

6:00 pm - presentation in the auditorium- information on registration for 2026-2027 school year.

6:30-8:00 pm - Self-Guided Tours through every area of the school, including a look at our Fitness, Arts, Academics, Library Learning Commons and more.  Every department will be represented.  Meet current staff and students and explore our amazing school!

To find out everything you need to know about registering for GRADE 9 at London Central for September 2026, please attend our Grade 8 Open House on December 2nd, 2025. The presentation will be posted here at a later date.

We can accept and register directly for the following students: 

Canadian Citizens and Permanent Resident Students living with a Parent/Legal Guardian who is residing in Ontario

i. If English is first language, complete online pre-registration process here. The school will arrange appointment to finalize registration.

ii. If English is NOT your first language, complete online pre-registration process here. Please note the school will contact One World, our International Welcome Centre, and provide them with a transcript and registration form for them to review. Your child might need to complete literacy and numeracy assessments. Our school will arrange an appointment to finalize registration.

 

 

If you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with Parent/Legal Guardian who is NOT residing in Ontario or an International or Non-Canadian Citizen or non-Permanent Resident

You will need to register with our International Welcome Centre, One World. They can be reached at 519-452-2117 or oneworld@tvdsb.ca before seeking registration at London Central Secondary School. (Please note that English as a Second Language programming is not available at London Central).

 

Required Paperwork for One World:
  • proof of residence: current utility bill, lease agreement, agreement of purchase and sale, property tax bill, cable, internet bill (driver’s license or cell phone bill is NOT acceptable for audit purposes) and lives within the London Central boundary qualifying as an in area registrant

  • proof of birth (birth certificate, passport) and permanent resident card if applicable

  • official transcript from previous school (translated into English if necessary) that clearly indicates courses achieved and student's attendance status (full-time or part-time)
